Serigraphs
and Digital Prints:
- All works on paper (serigraphs, lithograph, posters and digital prints
on paper) are sold unframed.
-Digital prints on canvas can only be shipped framed. Stretched canvases need the extra support and protection afforded by a frame, especially during shipping. (As we have found out the hard way!) The price listed includes a custom-made, high-quality wood frame in a style called "wrap-around". That is, it is and "L" shaped unadorned wood, which is offset from the side of the print by about +/- 1/2". It is finished in semi-gloss black paint. This is the same painting the artist prefers for all his original work. We pass on to you the full saving we receive by buying this frame wholesale.
If you
would prefer another frame, we will work with you. We will try to find
another frame based on your description. We can e-mail digital photos of
several frames our framer offers for you to make your choice, and we
will credit you for the cost of "our" frame and let you
know the difference you would have to pay for your selected frame. Please
note: we get "our" frames at a considerable discount,
by purchasing hundreds of linear feet of frame in advance. We do not get
discounts on other frames, so market price will apply.
- Dimensions are given in inches. The first number is always height and the second is width.
- Dimensions cited for works on paper (the serigraphs and the digital prints
on paper) reflect the size of the image only, not including border. (Also not including the width of the mat(s) you may wish to use when framing).
- Dimensions for the digital prints on canvas reflect the size of the image after stretching.
- The final size of any print after framing will depend on the framing options you select.
- Prints on paper should be matted and framed under glass. Works on
canvas require a frame only.
- Diptychs can be framed in two separate frames and hung with a slight separation
between the panels or both panels can be placed adjoining within a single frame. There is no
preferred method.
- Depending on your preferences, you can vary the size of the framed print. To calculate final size take the image size (the first number is height and the second is width) and allow for the width of the mat plus the width of the frame on each side of the image.
- Example: a 23" x 17" image on paper for which you select a 3" mat and a 1" frame:
23" + 6" +2" = Total finished size: 31" tall.
17" + 6" +2"
= Total finished size: 25" wide.
Posters:
Posters can be framed, but it is not necessary. We sell the posters signed by the artist or unsigned.
Payment Options:
We accept credit card payments via PayPal.
Taxes
Florida Residents Only: We are required to collect Florida Sales Tax for the city and county in which you live. The taxes are added to the total purchase price, not including shipping.
Shipping
and Handling Charges:
•We
make every effort to charge the minimum shipping cost for each purchase.
•Some lighter or less fragile items in our Gift Shop have a set shipping cost, regardless of location.
•Shipping costs for prints are dependent, not just on size and weight, but on distance and delivery time as well.
•Depending on the item, we use either USPS, UPS, or Fedex and insure the shipment based on value.
•We will pack or crate your purchase to best ensure a safe arrival, and will quote delivery charges based on the delivery option best suited for your purchase(s).
•You have the option to upgrade for faster shipping or to select a different shipper.
